How to Explore the RFQ Marketplace

The RFQ Marketplace is where you find and pursue jobs. As a Professional Pack customer, you browse available RFQs, unlock the ones worth pursuing, and quote them — so it’s important to target the right opportunities and not spread yourself too thin.

Why it matters: Unlocking and quoting RFQs costs time, money, and bandwidth. Using the marketplace’s filters and sorting tools helps you zero in on the jobs that are the best fit — and skip the ones that aren’t.

Getting to the Marketplace

Click RFQ Marketplace in your left-hand navigation bar.

Preset Filters

At the top of the marketplace, you’ll find preset filter options. Two worth using, especially if you’re just getting started:

RFQs with no quotes — Zero competition.
RFQs with less than three quotes — Low competition, and a good chance to start building relationships with buyers.

Advanced Filters

Click Advanced Filters to narrow down RFQs further. Key options include:

Process — Shows the categories listed on your profile. Use this to target areas where you have extra capacity.
Technique — Drill down within a process for more specific job types.
Materials — Filter by the materials you work with.
Proximity — Limit results by distance.
Required Certifications — Match jobs to certifications you already hold.
Tolerance — Filter by the tolerances you specialize in.

Sort By

Use the Sort By dropdown to prioritize what matters most to you:

RFQs closing soon
Highest or lowest quantity
Earliest delivery date

Tip: The categories listed on your profile directly affect which RFQs appear under the Process filter. If you’re not seeing the right jobs, make sure your profile capabilities are up to date.
