How to Build Out Your MFG Company Profile

How to Build Out Your MFG Company Profile

Your profile is the first thing buyers see. A complete profile builds trust, wins more quotes, and helps MFG surface the right RFQs for your business.

Why it matters: Buyers use your profile to answer: Who are you? What do you do? Can you handle my job? Some buyers also browse the directory and reach out directly — without ever posting an RFQ.

Getting to Your Profile

  1. Click Profile in your left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Click Edit on the tab you want to update.

About Us

  1.  Logo/Profile Image — Upload your company logo.

  2. Company Description — Describe your business, how long you’ve been around, and any standout attributes (e.g., family-owned, veteran-owned).

  3. Equipment — List your equipment so buyers and MFG’s system know what you can handle.

  4. Photos — Add 3–5 photos of your work, machines, or team.

  5. Certifications — List any certifications you hold (e.g., ISO, AS9100).

Capabilities

Review and update everything you’re able to handle — missing categories means missing RFQs. Use the Focus Overview area on the right to add up to 5 industries, the tolerances you specialize in, and materials you work with.

Contact Us

Keep your address, phone, and website up to date. Make sure voicemail is set up and your inbox isn’t full — if a buyer calls and can’t leave a message, that’s a lost opportunity.

Ratings

Ratings from past customers live here. Encouraging satisfied customers to leave one is a great way to build credibility with future buyers.
